Bangladesh and Sri Lanka has entered in T20 series with a very unfortunate start for Bangladesh and a powerful welcome for Sri Lanka. Bangladesh opened first innings with 46 runs partnership, a great start from the openers but after the loss of first wicket 2 wickets were knocked at 67 runs. Sri Lanka bowlers knocked out batsmen at short intervals putting a pressure on opponents. The middle order players contributed great runs ending this inning at 154 runs with elimination of 5 wickets. Sri Lanka opened with Nissanka snd Mendis who scored a partnership of 78 runs, proving how stronger is Sri Lanka's batting lineup. Mendis scored 73 runs the highest scorer in team almost brought the runs close to target. The remaining runs were chase by rest of the team after loss of 3 wickets so Sri Lanka won this game by 7 wickets.
Actually, according to my personal opinion, Bangladesh is in bad form in almost all formats, but compared to all of them, I think the Bangladesh team is in a slightly worse situation in the T20 format, so without this kind of performance, good performance cannot be expected from the Bangladesh team at the moment.
I think Bangladesh will lose the next two matches and Sri Lanka will be able to successfully whitewash Bangladesh. Because everything is in Sri Lanka's favor, from the field to the form of the players.
