Once we understand gambling, we will seek profit, and the desire to achieve greater profits will always be there. I admit this myself, because it would be hypocritical not to acknowledge it. But as time goes by, we must understand that this shouldn't be a priority. Addiction is something that will occur if we continue to seek profit in gambling, but instead of seeking profit, it can actually lead us to a miserable situation. So we must understand that this is simply a game based on luck.
Making a profit is easy to do, but sometimes it's difficult. This happens because the desire to win more often, which can lead to selfishness and greed. But we must be able to control ourselves by not becoming greedy and selfish, because when that happens, the consequences could be disastrous. Gamble sensibly, with limits and discipline, such as being able to stop at the right time, whether you've lost or won.
In my opinion, winning in gambling is not only about profit but also discipline. When we can stop gambling at the right time, that is also a victory, even if the gambling ends in defeat.
