Just give Xabi Alonso sometime, please. Don't bash him even before the season starts. Real Madrid was a complete disaster last season, and I can tell you this because I am also a Real Madrid fan. They should have won't at least La Liga or Copa del Rey, and they didn't. Barcelona battered them left and right. In Europe, even strikerless Arsenal team embarrassed them and u tell me is much weaker now? Well, this is just a continuation of last season. If anything, Xabi might just try to bring us out of that dungeon because if Ancelotti was still coach, I don't think much would have changed. PSG would have still scored like 4 or 5 goals. Who know? May be Borussia Dortmund would have scored 5 
I understand your frustration with Real Madrid tough season. And yes it is too soon to judge Xabi Alonso who is taking over team that clearly needs change. Ancelotti time seemed to be over and Alonso brings new ideas that could help Real Madrid improve. We can not expect miracles right away as Alonso needs time to get his system working and build team confidence but since he is club legend who knows Real Madrid well giving him patience and support is best way to help him bring back their winning ways.
