You have just ended Haliburton's career there if he does that even by force lol.

He tore his Achilles and not just a simple foot pressure. He might not even stand properly the whole season. And even let's say he can play, the crucial time is the most physical part of the game, as every ball possession is a must to score.
I think his coach mentioned that he's not going to play for the entire season as he might just end his career if he forces himself to play. And that's why he's passing on for this season and will be back for 2026-2027 season. Who knows what's next. I remember last 2023-2024, Chet Holmgren got also injured and didn't play for his first season and it was a quick thing since he's still young and just this recent season, he's got his first title.
With the rebuilding of the roster of Indiana losing their center and the superstar, it is right not to play Haliburton the whole season.
Make a strong comeback and make him healty, We saw Grant Hill and Rose destroyed their career by playing early and not let the wound heal completely.

It  is a long career waiting for him, he should stop, rest and chill for the next season.
Haliburton has already been ruled out for the entire 2025 season. Rehabbing an achilles tear takes a long time and players aren't confident doing the same movements they were doing before the tear. Fear of reinjuring themselves usually. He will be doing physical therapy for a few months minimum after it heals. If the Pacers went deep in the playoffs there would be a small chance he could play, but I doubt they go to the playoffs with the roster changes currently.
