In my opinion, if we are sick or addicted to gambling, we should first go to the hospital or rehabilitation center for treatment. We should only seek spirituality when there is no other effective solution, we should not abuse spirituality or become too superstitious.
In fact, many addicted people in many countries overcome their addiction through spirituality. Moreover, they can overcome not only gambling addiction, but also drug addiction, alcoholism, etc. And it's not that they find faith, but rather that healing occurs thanks to living on church grounds (or other spiritual institutions). This kind of life is completely different from the life we are used to. There is no internet, no temptations, and a lot of work to do every day. Therefore, people simply do not have time to think about their addictions. A few months of this kind of lifestyle completely changes one's perception of life and entertainment. Some former addicts even find faith during the healing process.
