Some reasons are:

- Why should they stop when luck is currently taking effect? They will deplete their luck to the max until not realizing that their big winnings are already depleting too. In the end, no cashout happened.

- While in-game and able to hit that huge win, already planning what they will do with their winning money. But since they have lots of plans, satisfaction doesn't have a limit, and they want to win more. Therefore, just continue to play. In the end, no cashout happened.

- After winning big, they will set up a loss limit and plan to cash out if it is reached. But the problem is, after hitting the target amount to be lost, they will regret those recent losses and will try to chase it. In the end, no cashout happened.

- Now with big winnings already, instead of withdrawing it, they will push for a much higher bet, thinking it will also give them a good result. Since they are now playing with a higher bet, every dead spin is a big blow. In the end, no cashout happened.

That experience will haunt them even while they're sleeping lol.

I experienced that yesterday which was the worse day of my life, now early January 2024 is a distant memory to me where I decided to quit gambling altogether. Yesterday I got to over 800 dollars with 22 dollar deposit and I lose it all by not being able to cashout thinking that much more money will be falling in the slot machine, which was completely wrong judgment from me. However I do not consider every gambler lucky as not everyone wins big more than one or couple of times at best, all other sessions are misery for them so most gamblers suffer a lot I must say. In the end no one fault expect everyone of us, we are the sole responsible for our actions.
