The leading causes of such greed of continuing to gamble even after a reasonable win is over confidence at that point many feels it was all in the name of being skillful and not by chance hence their ego increases to even gamble more instead of calling it a day maybe after a few more trials, had I know is always at last it has happened to me several times you know it is not always easy majority of time we find ourselves doing unintentional things that can land us in regrets such having a winning and refused leavimg the premises and some times we end up losing everything.
I know that feeling and I can agree that greediness in gambling is many times founded on a sense of overconfidence after having won. We are more likely to attribute our winning to an ability rather than to chance and that drives us to bet more by inflating our egos as you well know. I believe that this is complicated by the fact that we are sometimes carried away and we end up to be unable to stop despite knowing the risk will soon come. I am aware of the fact what a horrible state of loss of everything after having refused to walk out can be, and that reflects how effectual this emotional force can be as well.

Maybe we can use such as setting up alarms when we should stop, thus having an external device to assist us in doing the same. I am also going to consider it worthwhile to reflect on every session I attend making notes of what goes right and wrong so that we can have data to gain on. All of us can learn through such experiences and thus, so long as we learn to impose restrictions and analyze our situations, I believe we can have fun gambling and not wind up repeating the pattern of feeling bad about ourselves and our actions.
