I have the same thoughts. Despite the difficult situation Osimhen faces due to his feud with Napoli, there's no denying that Osimhen is still one of the best strikers around. But strangely, not many big teams are interested in signing him, even though Napoli no longer has a sky-high price tag on him.
I think Osimhen is no less good than Gyokeres or even Benjamin Sesko, where he still has a sharp goal-scoring instinct, and he is also a clinical striker who has a strong mentality. Besides, Osimhen can likely be signed for less than Sesko and Gyokeres, and if he gets the chance to play in the Premier League, I think he will be a reliable goalscorer there.
The problem now lies in Osimhen's salary demands.
Osimhen does possess good qualities overall, but in the last two seasons, he hasn't demonstrated that at a top European level, leading many top teams to be skeptical and reluctant to sign him due to his high salary demands.
There are many rumors circulating, but I believe the Osimhen transfer saga will end this season. Napoli only has one season left on his contract. They must sell Osimhen now to avoid him leaving for free at the end of next season, regardless of which team acquires him.
