Hi this might be a completely far fetched to ask for, considering my lack of standing/reputation on here. Feel free to ignore !
However, I need 0.0017 BTC to pay for cloud rendering costs for a freelance commercial CGI project. I need to cover the expenses upfront myself, but don't have spare cash at the moment.

So, you are ready to launch a project, but you don't have the money to pay for this, and you ask for a loan. This shows instantly that you don't even make the right calculations for this simple task, and that's a bad sign. How can you even start something when you don't have the money to pay for it? And since you know that without collateral, you won't get anything, then why do you ask for it? Do you believe that someone will pity you and send you? What a way of thinking is that? Just wondering... Anyways, without collateral (as you already know) you won't get a single sat. The only thing that you can get (how you don't know this?) is a neg. Better lock your thread and search elsewhere before this happens.
Btw, you need to fix your thread's title. Not that it matters much, though, since you won't get 0.0017, let alone 0.017.
