Hard to understand the way Arteta is thinking about his club. I also wonder how he's so obsessed with his rival's players. He brought Havertz, Jorginho, then Sterling (worst ever), Kepa and now Madueke. It gets worsen with how he paid Madueke for 50m, while Chelsea bought him for 29m.

In the latest update, Arsenal is in the progress signing Gyokeres from Sporting. I guess if that transfer doesn't work out for Arteta, and he can consider to sign Jackson from Chelsea.  Cheesy

Arsenal have money and I can see that Arteta is not too worried about paying more if he thinks this player can suit him. And I think it is not a good approach when Arteta tries to renew the attacking line like this, there is very little time left before the start of the season and these players will not even have enough time to adapt and prepare properly for the new season. In fact, Arsenal have a very good team, but they are constantly missing something, and Arteta is trying to figure out where exactly.
Madueke is to put it mildly not Arteta's best purchase and I think Chelsea can be happy with selling such a player for a solid 50m
It's strange that Arsenal don't want to add 5m and buy Diekeres but quietly give up 50m on Madueke.
A great transfer for Chelsea, who now have 50 million to buy the player they need and a controversial one for Arsenal, who got a fast but not the most reliable midfielder, who can play on the flanks but makes a lot of mistakes in his game.
