The problem with celebrities and politicians is that they say anything they want about bitcoin and that effect has to be borne by the market traders and investors. Politics is such that every other political news will make some sort of movement on speculative markets, bitcoin being one of them.

This should be ignored as far as possible. If the drop or rise happens, you should take your share of the discount or sell at profit respectively, but then dont give any importance to anybody talking about crypto.

Dont forget that bitcoin is decentralized and censorship resistant, but because of these reasons someone can say anything that they want to say about bitcoin and not face any problems.
