We got Barcelona/Real Madrid as the winner every season. The winner of the league is predictable even before the league is starting, right? However, it feels Barcelona will be back to back Champion. They seem more prepared rather than Madrid with their new manager.
Madrid's performance during CWC clearly give me a little insight about how good or bad his performance in the domestic. I know they have time to rebuild it, but must be starting back from the scratch.
So i put Barcelona as the most potential to win La Liga again, and Real follows them as the second favorite.
Almost every year we are in this, either Barcelona or Real Madrid leading as title favorite. Barcelona as a well balanced team than Real Madrid who is still trying to find their rhyme but I must say in winning the league what matters more is consistency and among both team the most consistent would be the winner. Atletico Madrid are trying to improve their squad and compete to make the title three horse race but as for this season it is still more as a two horse race, after all Atletico Madrid are highly inconsistent than other two.
I'm not discrediting Atletico. I'd remove Atletico from the title race competition because they're not serious club. The last time they won La Liga was a few years ago, but nothing improved since that time. They always finish below Madrid and Barcelona.
As for the winner, you're right about the consistency is a key, but club's preparation also meant a lot. In this case, i'm in favor Barcelona instead of Madrid. I said that because Barcelona has a well developed squad, not comparable with Madrid who still in the process re-assembling their squad.
