Real Madrid and Barcelona will continue to be the dominating club in La Liga next season. It's definitely been a lengthy day to watch how these clubs have been performing, how they've coming back stronger. Watched the performance of Barcelona, they seem more promising because they've claimed the position of been one of the highest level club in Spain, they surpassed all oppositions and moving to be reigning Champions. Real Madrid can only make attempts for improvements but they can be consistent.
Barcelona seem promising in the next season, because they were the champion last season, even I can’t use that as a reason to say they will do the same thing next season, but the thing is that Barcelona already has good players and the coach is really a experience one. While Real Madrid on the other hand have changed their coach which is Xabi Alonso, so this make me think things will become new to Real Madrid, because of the new strategy that the coach will be introducing to them. so I’m thinking this may take time before they adapt to it which will delay their progress in the competition.
Everything is possible for Real Madrid next season with Xabi Alonso. It's still a big question mark whether they can improve or not. On the other hand, Barcelona can certainly perform much better than last season. We saw the progress made by Hansi Flick last season, so the same, or even better, is likely to happen.
The title race between these two teams is certainly always on the table, but Atletico Madrid must remain a strong team, and there's a possibility that Atletico Madrid could enter a fierce battle with Real Madrid and Barcelona for the La Liga title next season.
I have more trust in Barcelona rather than Real Madrid, the reason is that Barcelona kept the same manager, they understood what the manager wants to play, and they have a lot of young players that now have more experience. On the other hand there is Real Madrid with a new manager, many new ideas, and it's still not clear how they are going to play, especially for the midfielders because in the last 2 years they lost Casemiro, Kroos and now Modric: Valverde is world class but Camavinga and Tchouaméni still have to prove they are at Real Madrid level. There also is Arda Guler but he is quite offensive, playing him as a midfielder plus 2 offensive wings and the striker would create serious problems at the team's balance. I'm curious to see Xabi Alonso's plan.
