Science has made a lot of things demystified, there are lots of things that are definitely not spiritual but due to lack of understanding some people think it is. Dopamine for example is something that pushes a lot of people to keep gambling but someone who isn't educated would think it's a spiritual force or something not ordinary. Sometimes dopamine is not the reason for addiction, greed is also a factor

Greed is actually a big factor in gambling addiction, and so is chasing losses. That's the only reason for a gambler to keep on playing, either they want their money back, or they want more after tasting the win.

It's not spiritual, even the high multipliers that will suddenly come are not spiritual. It's all in the algorithm and the consideration of our losses. When a gambler keeps on losing, they tend not to go back, which is why an online casino must give back to preserve a customer. It's a business that wants its patrons to keep on coming back for more, even though the customers are losing in the long run. They won't feel it because of the giving back feature.

chasing losses and revenge trading, wanting to force your ego into the market instead of accepting the weaves
it's really important for a trader to learn to take losses and to learn to limit big losses, this is the main thing

for a gambler I'm not sure, I think it's a slightly different path, more like limiting exposure and trying to control how much time you dedicate to it, watching out to not become addicted to it
