I think this might be the best for them, if they can win the Conference League all these pain or disappointed won't be remembered much.
That would be beautiful seeing themselves winning a trophy back to back seasons. Although, I must say it's still heartbreaking after dreaming of themselves playing at Europa League but ended up demoted because their management has share on multiple clubs.

But it will be difficult for palace to win a European title because it is not easy and it takes a lot of quality to win a European title and palace will have to strengthen their squad for them to achieve this
This is the fact, aside having the squad it is still difficult remember Liverpool lost the Europa league last two season, it require consistency and good team play. I think this they can build with the Conference League experience and possibly even win it, which will be better.
