What do you do to a trading strategy that already earns you a good percentage in profit. do you still try improving on it to ensure it does not fail? or do you let it be until it starts showing signs of failure?
It is a simple question but I think answers and opinions will be different considering that some traders may fear further tampering with the strategy, others will no want to wait until it fails, what is your style?
A strategy is only meant to be improved when it's starts failing but if you are earning a reasonable amount of profit from it then there's no point in trying to make it better. But overtime strategies don't always give you profit and when you start going through such phase you can make some adjustments. That's why you must always apply the rule of risk management, no matter how sure you think your strategies are always practice it
