Fabrizio Romano has posted that Real Madrid wants €100m for Rodrygo if he is to leave this summer. First of all, i think that asking fee is outrageous, especially coming from a team that wants to master the art of getting players for free; they already did it with Mbappe and Trent, who knows which players they will court next towards the end of his contract and get him for free.

That said, i am not sure any team would pay €100m for Rodrygo, if that is the money they want, they can as well keep him, i think €80m at the most is a good price to buy Rodrygo.
In my opinion, Rodrygo's fees ain't nothing for PL club, but his wage is the main problem. He wanted close to the 300k, which is still high. If he can reduce it, and i'm sure many clubs are interesting to look at him. Even some clubs like Chelsea has money to sign him as long as he agree to cut his wage to the 140k 150k range.
However, his club will decide his future next week, but open to let him leave. He can still have possibility to stay much longer only if he's still willing to be benched by Xabi.  Cheesy
But it is not a fact that he will be on the bench all the time, I think Alonso will take into account that the player has not left the club and is still available to play, yes, he can change tactics, not put the player in the main squad if he is not needed, but he may be useful sooner or later, so he may be useful. But he'd better find a club where he can play full time
Alonso certainly still needs Rodrygo, even though he's not in the starting lineup. He can be used as a backup. The problem now is that Rodrygo no longer wants to be at Real Madrid and wants to move to a team that will give him a starting spot to further develop his career. I think that's understandable.

Real Madrid's high price tag is quite realistic considering Rodrygo's excellent qualities. However, so far I haven't seen any strong rumors from other teams. So, even if no team is willing to meet that target to sign Rodrygo, Real Madrid can still use this player to maintain the team's stability in attack.
