Do you think seeing no gambling, hearing no gambling, and talking no gambling, not even a mention of a gambling site, will decrease addiction? Is it a good resolution?
This growing number of addictions here in our country started because of the massive marketing and influence of celebrities. Your thoughts on this?
I don't think the government are doing this good out of their good heart because they hate gambling or trying to crackdown on gambling addiction in the country. The government are only just trying to appease the people by making them have more trust in them because they're listening to the people. The government makes the most money from casino therefore they'll not want their source of generating revenue to be cut off but to make the people happy they'll take down the posters. Still casino have the internet to do all their advertising and they're more lucrative. Billboards has to be be seen by only those traveling on the road but with internet, more people can be reached.
