Come on now, you are rejecting traffic to sites you dont want to visit? Just dont open those websites at all.
Gambling addiction is hard to come to terms with. I think spending time outside your own gambling "man-cave" might have better effects. Look at things that you might have given up during this period while gambling just so you could gamble.
Often times we give our addiction preference and cut down relations and friends which are good for us. Try visiting those back and see how it helps. Otherwise professional help is always there.
That is exactly what I want to avoid, professional help. Most people don't know about my problem with gambling and if I go to some sort of gamblers anonymous center it will make me public. There is a reason I am not locking this thread and it is exactly to come here daily and be able to write, look I have not gambled at all. I am not saying that by just blocking some websites it is what will help me totally get out of this, yet I have huge belief that it can give me a boost now in the early stages of this change, as long as I can stay 3 weeks without gambling then I believe I can stay without gambling as long as I want. This is what I am trying to achieve here.
Well, I congratulate you on your efforts in this fight against addiction. It's not an easy fight. I personally had many relatives who were addicted, and they all died because of their addiction. I spent many years believing they could have cured themselves. Looking back, I realize I should have been tougher on them by admitting them to a rehabilitation clinic with a doctor who specializes in treating addicts.
Curing addiction alone is extremely difficult, especially if the person is exposed to the very thing that leads to their addiction every day. For example, if someone is addicted to alcohol but works in a place that sells alcohol, beer, or wine, then no matter how many methods they use to cure themselves, as long as they are undergoing treatment and dealing with beer and wine, they will not be cured. In your case, you can use all the methods you want, but if you are close to online casinos then it will be difficult.
