If Chelsea defends more like park the bus against PSG, it'll be tough for the Champions of Europe to get a goal quickly, but if they try to play their normal game that brought them to this stage, they'll be fvcked hard in the butthole during the first 30 minutes of the game. I'm not hating, I'm not underestimating nobody, it should be a 1:0 win for PSG, possibly a 2:0. The signs are all over. Talks of Chelsea being underdogs and winning are not relevant in this game.
Well, impossible is nothing in football, but in this case I have some doubts it will play out with Chelsea, PSG has a pattern that gets the play fast on their opponents on special games like this, a look at their UCL performance and even their performance in the FIFA Club World Cup games so far against top teams like them, they usually get it fast through the first half and try securing a goal upon which they win an advantage to keep their opponents on their toes and possibly keep them agitate till the send the ball behind the net and gain victory at the end, if only Chelsea can get the game slowed down especially in the first half and prevent that early goal so they still remain stable with their emotions, they will have a chance in this game.
PSG's advantage is forcing opposing teams to play at a fast pace. And that's exactly what PSG is all about. They have a fast attacking tempo, and even when the opposing team tries to defend, it will still be difficult if the PSG players play aggressively and consistently. However, if Chelsea can slow the tempo of the game, it's very possible they can hold PSG to a draw in normal time. Chelsea should learn from Botafogo, who beat PSG in the group stage. Botafogo defended well and caught PSG off guard in the end. However, Botafogo didn't use a defensive formation, which also made PSG unpredictably determined.
But Chelsea is actually a team that also has a fairly fast tempo. So, there are actually some similarities between the strategies employed by Chelsea and PSG. And I would have preferred it if both teams had stuck to their usual strategies. Because that would have been more exciting, in my opinion, rather than watching one team defend and just receive attacks constantly. That would have been very boring.
