I tried many years ago but then I just give up... as worker its a wise decision to not get fully paid in bitcoin. because many expenses are still in FIAT.
even you can exchange/use some tools this is not the same to paying directly with FIAT because there are always fees and so on.
I means add another hidden.
The best solution is always a DYI= buy btc when you get you salary but keep a portion of FIAT for the fized expenses

Formal employment is indeed very frustrating because the government doesn't yet have a well-developed tax system. We'll be subject to more taxes, including exchange taxes for fiat currency, which we'll use for our living expenses, since stores don't accept Bitcoin.

However, for informal work, like in this forum, or freelance work, I prefer Bitcoin because it's tax-free and only involves fees. I think that's much better.

Taxes are just a small, insignificant nuisance. For me, bitcoin volatility is the biggest nuisance we face. What if we just got paid and the bitcoin price suddenly corrects sharply, losing more than 10% of its value?

But yes, if it's a side hustle then getting paid in bitcoin is fine, even beneficial for long term bitcoin investors like us. Because it's like we're accumulating our investment. But honestly, getting paid in fiat or stablecoin is still much better because we will be more proactive.
