Finally, Real Madrid's most decorated player Luka Modric leaves the club after playing his final game for the club in their 4:0 defeat to French and European champions Paris Saint Germaine. As a Real Madrid fan, I'm yet to make peace with the fact that another legend of the club have left but I believe that he'll someday come back to the club but definitely not as a player. Reports have it that he's already signed for AC Milan. Wishing the Croatian midfield maestro the best as he he continues his football journey.
Fair well Modric! It has been a great time watching him play for one of my favorite clubs in the world Real Madrid. We are all proud of him and what he has achieved with and for the club, he will definitely be missed hugely. Ac milan are the lucky side to have captured him this summer as he will now join them after Madrid’s elimination from the Club World Cup.

The fact is that now Real Madrid is like Barcelona when they lost all their old players. They fell a lot because they needed to restructure the team. Real Madrid went through the same phase, with Ancelotti, things were well managed because he is very experienced and knew how to handle the squad and La Liga well, but with Xabi, I think things may not go very well. I see that next season we will have a lot of headaches in La Liga.

I keep wondering why Napoli is acting this way, it seems like they hate Osimhen

New direct talks underway today for Osimhen deal ahead of crucial week.

Galatasaray bid on the table: €40m now plus €17.5m and €17.5m in installments.

Napoli are open to this solution but insist on different payment terms and bank guarantees.

They don't need the player, they could easily reach an agreement with Galatasaray, but they have created many obstacles, this should serve as a lesson to all players to be very careful with the contract they sign so as not to regret it later.
