This was a close and interesting match and England Women were the winners at the end. The reason that they were able to chase this score was because they had wickets in hand. Sophia Dunkley and Danni Wyatt-Hodge had a 100 runs partnership for the opening wicket and after such a start you would expect them to win comfortably but still the Indian bowlers fought back hard and didn't let the England team have an easy win. Tammy Beaumont would be happy that her team is able to win another match.
Yes the match was very interesting and exciting. England women had to bat till the last ball of the last over to win. I thought England women would lose this match too but in the end England women won and ended the series 2-3. However yesterday the performance of India women batsmen was not good, except Shafali Verma and Richa Ghosh no other batsmen had good performance. In the end India women scored 167 runs and India women bowlers tried hard but failed in the end. Especially England women opening batsmen both performed well which resulted in England women winning. If England women opening batsmen both did not do well then it would have been very difficult for England to chase the target. However England women lost the T20 series at home, so they should focus on the ODI series and try to do well in the ODI series.
