Many people think that they have gotten it all just because they hold some amount of Bitcoin, they think it's a get rich quick scheme. Being a good Bitcoiner is beyond just holding Bitcoin.
if you are using bitcoin in any shape or form, then you are a bitcoiner. that's it.
let's not start labeling peopel good/bad bitcoiners.
You need to value savings over spending, be patient with investments.
isn't that the same as holding?
And you need to live by the principle of earning value by contributing to the ecosystem.
to contribute to the ecosystem, the simple way is to start running your own node, embrace self custody, and actually learn what bitcoin is and how it works. you can't contribute to the community if you don't know anything about it beyond how to send/receive and setup a wallet.
You can connect with other Bitcoiners and support Meetups and make real relationships but by the same time think for your self, your not swayed by influencers but by truth and data.
nah, this could get real dangerous for you real quick if you have a large amount of coins.
people are being targeted more and more for that, so meetups and building relationships IRL around bitcoin is a big bad idea.
