It all started with Mbappe arrival. I don’t blame him personally, but it’s always challenging for any team when a high profile attacking player tends to play selfishly. Before Mbappe joined, everything was working well, the team relied on Vinicius, Rodrygo, and Bellingham, who all played selflessly and contributed solidly to one another. After Mbappe came in, the other three seemed to adjust their play to support him, but Mbappe rarely returned the favor, which disrupted the team’s balance and chemistry. Now, with Alonso stepping in as coach, I’m hopeful that he can bring positive changes and restore the collective spirit within the squad.
The arrival of Kylian Mbappe has been a bad luck to Real Madrid and it is just very sad that what seems to a good signing is now becoming a problem and considering the fact that after Kylian Mbappe left PSG, they claimed their first ever Champions League victory so all these put together is just a misfortune for the France International striker. Mbappe's overall statistics last season is not bad but the team's performance is degrading his efforts. I think the problem with Real Madrid is lack of understanding between the players and feelings of supremacy by Vinicius Jr, Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappe because when Mbappe hasn't come to Real Madrid, there was understanding between Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo and Jude Bellingham but when Mbappe arrived, the bond was bridged as they play more of a selfish game than a team work display. Xabi Alonso should just find a way to balance up the squad in order to meet his standard and i heard that the club's management have given him the full control to effect any decision that will make the team better so we hope the players will become more discipline knowing that Xabi Alonso would not like any player to endanger his job.
