Well lately I have been falling back to gambling addiction and it looks like I can't stop no matter how hard I try. The problem is that I only love to play 90% of the times from my Linux machine in my home as I love to play from the comfort of my home and was thinking what to do to block these websites of the casinos I play and resorted to REJECTING traffic from the iptables command in the firewall of my Ubuntu machine, well it worked like a charm and I don't intend to delete these rules ever. In fact I have already forgotten the rules though and I don't intend to check back. I intend to keep my promise to myself to stop gambling altogether and I will totally achieve it because I am very decisive about it. No one can stop me now, it was that going from 20 to 800 dollars and losing it all that made me do this. In case anyone is in my same shoes here are the rules to REJECT traffic, also there is needed both INPUT and OUTPUT.

You have so far cooked a lot of slog by locking yourself out. To shape it even lustier, put on some additional layers, set out to apply browser addons like BlockSite or uBlock to curb accidental visits, you could use self-exclusion at any casinos you play, and lock down your accounting, even you could think about giving authority of your cards to a trusted family member. Then block up that time with something way out, sports, coding, a new hobby, to distract yourself and regroup. I you want to stay away from technology, joining a support provider like Gamblers Anonymous or SMART Recovery can come up with accountability and strategies for replacing gambling with healthy habits.
