It seems to be a new Chrome update. Just after the last update, Chrome turned off the BPiP extension and asking permission to delete them.
But for now, it is possible to add it manually in developer mode, and it is working.
The manual method is also just a temporary workaround. It may be disabled in the near future
Allow legacy extension manifest versions
Allows extensions with legacy (unsupported) manifest versions to be loaded as unpacked extensions. This should only be used for maintaining legacy extensions and will be removed in the future. – Mac, Windows, Linux, ChromeOS
If someone still wants chrome then the test version should work for now
Or better still, get familiar to using Firefox. Google Chrome clearly doesn't want people who value their data privacy.
