Antony is not a bad choice if he’s added to the team in my own opinion, but he needs to strengthen other positions too just like the striking role because that’s where the team will be in need of more for next season. Seeing Boniface also leaving the club will have them no choice than to bring in a new striker to fill that position. He’s a great talent but he needs to be very decisive in bringing in players that would make the next season better for them. We might not be able to see from the same direction as him, but it’s better he makes the right choice that he will not regret when the season already begins.
I do not know why Ten hag is so interested in Antony. A few years ago we saw that Antony was bought for a huge amount of money. But Manchester united 's biggest mistake was buying Antony. Antony did not play well in a single season for Manchesterunited. Now we see that manager Ten hag wants to add Antony to the Leverkusen squad.
I do not expect good performance from antony. I donot know if Antony will do well with Leverkusen. But I haven not seen Antony perform better in any season so far . Antony only managed to score 9 goals in his most successful season, that was 2020-21 season. So if Leverkusen management spends a huge amount for Antony, they will be making a mistake.
While Ten Hag was at Manchester United, most of the high-priced deals that Manchester United made failed, although those players are still retained by Manchester United. This manager was fired last season due to Manchester United's poor results and was re-appointed this season by German league club Leverkusen. Until last season, Leverkusen's performance was good, but since Ten Hag was given the responsibility of Leverkusen's manager, it is not possible to say what the club's situation might be from next season. If this manager brings the players he likes to Leverkusen, then Leverkusen may return to poor performance again. The management should not give this manager a long-term job for a season and if the team does well under him in one season, then make a long-term plan for him and if it is seen that he is doing badly, then dismiss him again.
