Things I noticed about the Club World Cup:
1. Interest in football in the US is still very low.
2. The 2026 World Cup will be held here, but the heat is a major problem.
3. There was very little interest, especially in daytime matches.
4. European referees were harsh on players, while referees from other continents were more friendly and calm.
5. Due to the financial power of football, there's a huge gap between teams in Europe and those from other continents.
Both the players and the quality of football are very different.
6. PSG lost once and lost the cup with that loss.
7. Having cameras on the referees at matches was a good thing. It was also a nice innovation that the referees announced their VAR decisions to the stadium.
8. The new offside system with the chip ball was very good. It would be great if this was implemented in all leagues; it could put an end to the offside debate.
These are the ones that come to mind. I'll add more if I think of anything else.
Kind regards...
