The truth is trading need plenty of money, if you use small money then expect to have little return and you will need the virtue of Patience to ensure that  money grows from the little it is to a bigger amount.
Yeah, this is where you even get to know who's doing the actual trading and not gambling. I believe the required trading skills are all that are needed to become profitable, and not a pile of cash. Patience is a big virtue in trading. Those who neglect it will always have scars from it.

But if you want to make real profit then use a bigger amount and you will be satisfied with your returns. Furthermore, people who use smaller money blow their accounts faster than those with big money. People who have big money to trade can short in their capital, but they will always grow it back and move forward.
Big amount without having the basic skills for trading will result to heartbreak. I've grown a $10 account to a withdrawal level. I hope you know what that means? In the past, I had burnt accounts with over $200 on different occasions. So, the major thing in trading isn't the capital but the skills.
