Honestly, many gamblers say they'll stop gambling, but after a few days, they're back in action again. Well, I hope that will be serious and you'll never get tempted again.

Though this idea could help you, mate, it wouldn't completely make you safe, and there would be no room for gambling again. It actually takes time to close the door on gambling, and if you survive, you're totally free. With this, it could help more if you make yourself busy with other stuff to completely get gambling out of your mind.
OP is in control of whether he gambles or not. He blocks gambling websites on his system but it can be undone in just a few minutes.
It's still his way of stopping himself, and it works for him. That’s why he shared it here.
yes he can undo it easily but still gambling will not be as accessible as it once did because he has put up these ways so he can avoid gambling

he also needs to control himself but if this helps him then good

The barriers are working extremely well so far, despite me having an urge to gamble I am stopped, when I see the "network error" I stop for a moment and I say to myself why do I want to continue to lose money when I know the same will happen over and over again which is in the end of the session no matter how long the session I will lose money. I am at the office now and don't feel the urge to play, here we are 8 persons in the same office and I used to gamble yet I felt a bad aura and I blamed my colleagues for my loss, typically compulsive gambler behavior which I have in plan to remove it from my behavior. I will keep posting regularly in this thread but things are looking very good so far. People say find a new hobby but my hobbies are extreme, now I want to buy an additional house to give in Airbnb and make money out of it.
