Serie A will likely have only four spots in UEFA Champions League and this means not only Juventus, AC Milan and AS Roma, but also Napoli, Inter Milan and perhaps Lazio as well as Fiorentina will compete for only for representative spots of Serie A in Champions League. It will not an easy competition for all those clubs as 7 clubs compete for 4 top positions is not easy but surely very challenging.
Looking at last season's performance gives us a glimpse into a team's preparation for this season's competition. This is further enhanced by the evaluations most teams have undertaken, including the recruitment of players they need. Napoli is one of the teams most committed to improving their squad, as they face a much tougher schedule next season due to their Champions League participation. Therefore they have already managed to recruit several needed players as an effort to improve overall performance.
Of the seven teams I'm more optimistic about Napoli and Inter Milan securing a place in the top four. However, for the other two, we need to see their performances this season to get a better idea of their strengths. If I may include several teams, I'm much more hopeful that Juventus and AC Milan will be candidates to finish in the top four next season.
