It was indeed shocking to see Chelsea beat PSG by such goal margin in the final. We underestimated Chelsea and they taught us a lesson.
Chelsea are not going to win the Premier League title, I can bet on it. Nevertheless I will give them their accolades for winning the FIFA Club World Cup and writing their name in the history books as the first to do it.
Well, actually, we can't always be overly optimistic about Chelsea just because they won the Club World Cup this time. We have to learn from what we learned from PSG's extraordinary performance, and then people started to be overly optimistic about PSG, even underestimating Chelsea in the Club World Cup final. But what happened was beyond anyone's expectations. Chelsea beat PSG by a big score, without even giving PSG a chance to score.
And now we must appreciate Chelsea for their achievements. They succeeded in the Europa Conference League, and now in the Club World Cup. But I'm not sure they'll excel in the Premier League. But let's wait and see. We can't judge too quickly before the season starts.
The problem here is that most football fan keeps on underrating Chelsea upon how competent and competitive they have proven to be over the years in the uefa champions league, uefa Europa Europa league, uefa conference league and now in the club world cup. Before the start of the game most rival fans were saying that Chelsea haven't met any strong opposition that they came in through the back door by beating smaller teams like palmeiras, benfica and fluminense, these are teams that are as good as most top teams in Europe, but because they came from Brazil, they were calling them a small side, till most football rival fans learn to take Chelsea serious, that's how they will keeps on getting surprised by the capabilities of Chelsea as a whole.
Finally, what was Luis Enrique trying to do? Slapping Joao Pedro because he scores his team? if they set a stage for both of them to fight, do he thinks that he can fight Joao Pedro that is still young and strong?
Most people don't just know how to maintain maximum respect for themselves.
