I'm a developer and crypto believer. I have been spending time on the Bitcointalk forum lately, and I want to make some good friends here.
All of my close circle friends consider crypto as scams, and I cannot convince them at all. They all bought some meme coins and lost, or have heard stories of people getting wrecked on NFT coins, so they blame Bitcoin for all the scams. When I argue, "Why don't you buy Bitcoin?" they say it's not profitable. When I counter back with, "If you had bought $6k BTC last year, it would now be around $10k instead you chose some meme coin that online gurus talk about, and now you blame Bitcoin," they still don’t listen. Nowadays, I’ve started to lose friends over these arguments, and I'm not good online Instagram or Discord either.
It will take a more reasonable person to have a rethinking mindsets about Bitcoin and and other coins after having losses with a meme coin, the anger in them makes them not to see that they things can still been done differently, they feel that there is no second chance by concluding all cryptocurrency is the same, the problem is about how people at first get carried away by the flaunting over hyped meme coins for quick return not knowing it is typically baits to attract them of their hard earned money, some can move on so easily while others might not easily move, allow them to or not realize themselves the argument is not necessary, I see this forum as one big family because Bitcoin has brought us together no need looking for friends that are already yours.
