Both of this type of gambling games are equally addictive for those who allow themselves to get addicted to gambling, I don't know about any other person but personally, I believe that addiction to a game doesn't come from the game itself but from the person who is playing it, getting addicted to any type of game in gambling depends on the how the player is able to control him or herself, different gamblers have different levels of self control and this is just the basic fact.
So, let's just say that some people enjoy playing slot while others enjoy betting on sports, those who enjoy betting on sports will easily get addicted to sports if they lack proper self control, while those who love playing slot games will easily get addicted to the slot game they play if they lack proper self control.

Honestly, I'll agree with that because the game doesn't play it self. The gambler makes it a habit to always play that game which eventually makes him addicted at some point. If he is disciplined and understands how to control his emotions properly then he will be able to play just any games. Addiction is not selective. Any one can be addicted to a certain type of gambling activities. And it's still same problem honestly. That's why so many people fails to control them self on the long run. Some might not even be kin to learn how to control and just believe it's a normal way for them to gamble...
