The thing is, I don't think Arsenal will stress themselves on this Gyokeres deal. I believe that they made attempts to sign him just because the fans are demanding for a striker.

After Chelsea won the Club world cup today, Arteta should be ashamed that in the last 4 years of good football he has not won any trophy, that alone should be motivation to him, knowing that London is blue and not red.

But Arteta has built a good team that's challenging for trophies in every competition the club has participated. He has transformed Arsenal players mentality from just finishing in the top 4 into fighting for trophies. The trophies will come what he needs is the backing of the board in getting him good players and so far we are seeing the react very well in the transfer market. We can't judge Arteta and Arsenal in the competition they didn't even participate. They didn't participate in the club world cup so let Arteta breath. If they were invited to the club world cup, probably they would have lifted the trophy.
