@everyone who thinks KYC is only there to catch scammers, this is not the case and you mostly hear forum members talk about KYC that way when they haven't been around for very long.
Technically, KYC are just mandatory shit from its casino regulation bodies. And usually it is implemented with a third party company that is licensed to so it. As KYC for an account, any the same habit, footprints, practice, device usually tag as multi accounting, then lastly, KYC to prove it.
Data theft, if it really hits you hard, can destroy you.
It's a norm, everything in the internet to prove yourself that you are a person and not just a bot or someone, KYC is mandatory, but because of those breaches, selling personal info, due to ads, scams, sales, marketing, etc. it becomes worst. So provide your personal info only to those you think trustworthy enough.
Stealing KYC Datas from online casinos is not that easy and anytime you sees that there is a case of identity theft via KYC datas you definitely spot an insiders games there so for sure kyc to some level is quite safe unless you do it on a fraudulent platform that parade themselves as online cryptocurrency casinos but are just bad actors, who just get gamblers data and sell it out to scammers.
