The only question is "Will he maintain this effort in the Premier League too?". I hope he does. He has a Championship experience with Coventry. But not much in the Premier League. He is looking forward to playing there.

Let's see if he can back up his words with action, success at Sporting is one thing, but the Premier League is a completely different level. I would be happy if Arsenal got a new impetus from his arrival, but I have little faith in that. As for the price, by today's standards it is a very modest transfer, nothing special.
