Offline gambling is always dangerous, those who are addicted to offline gambling cannot give up that addiction.
Same with online gambling. Offline just adds in the risk of things being more physical and chances of rigging. Online games are provably fair and the math can be trusted to a large extent.
Another thing about offline gambling is that you cannot come back with the winning money until the person in front of you runs out of money, this is a very bad and dangerous thing.
Why is that? You can cash out any time and come out of the casino - its your choice. Yes the chances of getting robbed is a big thing but that does not mean you need to drain the money from the person in front of you to cash out.
