Well lately I have been falling back to gambling addiction and it looks like I can't stop no matter how hard I try. The problem is that I only love to play 90% of the times from my Linux machine in my home as I love to play from the comfort of my home and was thinking what to do to block these websites of the casinos I play and resorted to REJECTING traffic from the iptables command in the firewall of my Ubuntu machine, well it worked like a charm and I don't intend to delete these rules ever.
This is merely a temporary tactic to starve your addiction; it won't be long before you reset your computer and resume your gambling activities. The first step is to accept that you are addicted as you have done, and the second and last step is to discipline and control your urges.
It won't be simple, and it will be a slow process, but your chsncesabdes s of getting out are low until you master the second and last options.
It becomes even more difficult to discipline yourself when gambling when a friend wins big and wants to give you tips. Your soul will be tormented by the desire to curb your addiction by simply distancing yourself or playing again and taking tips from your friend.
The key lies within yourself; how long it lasts depends on how you learn to behave and take action against gambling.
