How ever, in some cases forcing ban or protection for everyone because you need to protect few is sometimes justified. It doesn't matter if it's about gambling or not, as long the law itself is not harming the people.
Sometimes? Maybe, but in other cases, in the case of gambling, I don't agree because I believe gambling is a thing which can give pleasure to some people, and those who don't treat it like an easy way to riches usually don't face any problems because of gambling. If you are someone who is emotionally weak and can't control their emotions, and that causes problems for you when you gamble, you shouldn't be into gambling in the first place because it's not your thing, and if you still do it, it is you who should be blamed for what you face in life and not gambling.
If we say gambling ruins the youth, and children are exposed to risks and addictive stuff, then I would again say that it's the responsibility of their parents and guardians to make sure that they are not getting into such things. Keep an eye on their activities, make sure they are doing things that aren't harmful for them or their future, and if you can't do that as a guardian, you are to be blamed for their future and not gambling industry.
