It’s really just one click away no, with digital wallets, anyone can gamble with the smallest amount. That poster clearly shows how aggressive casinos have become in luring people to play.

PAGCOR did respond though, giving them until the end of August to take down those huge billboards. But honestly, that won’t solve the real problem. Even before those ads went up, gambling addiction was already a serious issue. The billboard is just a symptom, the root problem runs much deeper.
The damage has been done by these huge billboards in the main city. Many people are already addicted to gambling, and despite PAGCOR responding, I don't think that it will have a major effect towards decreasing the number of addicted gamblers although it's a good thing that they responded and moved instead of just sitting on one side and getting all those taxes coming from them.

This is why one bill suggests a minimum deposit amount because with how low the minimum deposit amount is, anybody can gamble and we know that once a person gambles, that's the start of the cycle and over time, they will not know that they're getting close to getting addicted into gambling already. Gambling addiction was an issue already, but increased significantly since these gambling owners rampantly advertised their website on different social media platforms and also created these huge billboards.

Regulation is the solution for me. Anyway, it's good that they at least removed these huge billboards. Gambling addiction is quite alarming already here in our country so the senate should focus on this problem instead of some nonsensical topics out there that doesn't benefit their constituents.
