Madueke to Arsenal is kind of a surprising news to me but why madueke?
It is also surprising to me too, but many times players have made this kind of move, only to end up playing their best football in their new team. Madueke was not so good at Chelsea, but since Arteta approved the deal, he must have plans on how to utilize him and we might see the best version of Noni Madueke at Emirates.
That said, Madueke is also very young, so he has all the time to learn and improve his game, as well as his attitide too; if he works hard and stays humble, he could succeed.
While at Chelsea, Madueke sometimes played too selfishly, which is understandable as he probably wanted to prove himself to secure a place in the main squad. Arteta might be able to push Madueke to develop rapidly and transform him into a more humble player. In my opinion, Madueke won't need much time to adapt. Some Arsenal fans seemingly don't want this transfer to happen, they don't want to see their team keep buying discarded Chelsea players.
At the very least, Madueke could be used as a second-string player, which would add variety to Arsenal attack and give Arteta more options for player rotation. It was actually surprising to see Chelsea agree to release Madueke, considering Enzo Maresca to rely on him quite often last season. The £52 million price might be too high, but Madueke might just make a significant impact on the Arsenal squad next season, making that value seem worthwhile.
