I think we don't need to speculate too far, which leads to claims that are difficult to prove. Many people are indeed disappointed with PSG loss and are thinking all sorts of things about how the match played out. I will still conclude that Chelsea deserved to win because they also played well, even though I previously expected PSG to be the victors.
Chelsea is now a giant team, they have collected all UEFA trophies, and most recently, they secured the Club World Cup trophy. In the past, Chelsea was often disadvantaged by referees, perhaps if not for that, they would have more trophies in their cabinet. Congratulations to Chelsea and all their players, that's all that can be said about the surprise that occurred.
Of course, Chelsea deserved to win anything they truly deserved because of their excellent performance. Their victory over PSG certainly surprised everyone, but when we look at their performance, it was completely deserved and not at all surprising. PSG played well and continued to give their all, but Chelsea's performance in the final was so impressive that it prevented PSG from achieving anything.
Statistically, PSG only had the upper hand in possession, while they were no better than Chelsea in terms of chance utilization and shots on goal. Chelsea were more effective in building attacks and were strong defensively, so it was natural for them to win the title.
