That’s the same question have been asking, why did Arteta choose Madueke, among all the players available, Arsenal still prefers Madueke, last season Madueke doesn’t have much impact on Chelsea performance, Madueke was able to score just 7 goals in the premier league competition last season, and he played 32 matches, why will Arteta even think that’s just the best player that he is suppose to sign, and we all can see the amount of money that Arsenal signed him, is that amount not too much for a player like Madueke?

I don’t really know what’s wrong with Arteta, I don’t know why he keeps on making signing from Chelsea, and he do sign players that Chelsea no longer find useful in their team. Chelsea played without Madueke yesterday, and they played very well, Madueke absence wasn’t really felt.

Sometimes manager's in general don't look at where the player is in that particular time, they look at the potential he posses and I can remember how many Chelsea don't want him, people are complaining that he doesn't have much goals but they forget Maresca doesn't use him consistently like others. He get to show when he was allowed, he could be many things to Arsenal, maybe a good winger or perhaps a potential investment, it can be anything to Arsenal.

There has been a lot of speculation about Arsenal signing Rodrigo but who knowa if this is who they are bringing. If Arsenal want Rodrigo, it will cost them nothing less than $70m for sure, they will cough that amount of money before they get him but Madueke will be lesser and their performance last season isn't any too difference. Madueke is versatile in wings the like the way Rodrigo can play. So it might also be that Arsenal is looking at cost, they are trying to cut it down as possible.
