Milan can certainly bounce back from this slump next season if they truly have the extraordinary ability to do so, but I don't think Milan will immediately become title contenders next season because several other teams are still very strong, especially Napoli, Inter, and possibly Roma and Juventus. So, Napoli does have the potential to continue competing for the title next season as long as they maintain their good form and avoid making any mistakes that could be fatal.
Sometimes Milan makes negative changes, starting the season with a very bad performance, like last season. And if Milan starts the season with a positive performance next season, I believe Milan can compete for the title. And regarding Roma, perhaps I should exclude this team from the title race. Because in terms of player quality, I have serious doubts about Roma squad. And Juventus is also a team worthy of competing for the title, having proven since last season to have a strong and reliable defense. Juventus just needs a reliable attacking player to become even stronger.
If Claudio Ranieri hadn't retired, I'm confident AS Roma would be Scudetto contenders next season. Napoli still looks very strong in the race, they have high hopes of retaining the Scudetto, especially considering their efforts to add squad depth in this summer transfer window. As for Juventus and AC Milan, those two teams will probably only be competing for a top four spot. Inter Milan seems more reliable in challenging Napoli.
On the other hand, Atalanta might experience a decline after Gasperini departure, their new manager isn't very convincing, in my opinion. In recent seasons, Atalanta has always managed to finish in a Champions League spot, but it looks like they'll struggle next season. Overall, the Scudetto race next season will definitely be more competitive, and Napoli will have to work twice as hard to defend it.
