Since the Gunners have been running around trying to get players to get prepared for next season. I never thought that they would still want to sell Leandro Trossard after he made a good account of himself last campaign with him coming off the bench to score a number of goals for the Gunners on several occasions which gives them the required 3pt, a great player whom I thought would still be at the club even with the signing of the Chelsea's former winger Madueke. Trossard will be sold to help balance the books at Arsenal. To me I thought someone like Gabriel Martinelli will be the one to make way for the new winger but instead is Trossard who might be leaving anytime soon for
£20m as the Gunners demand price and clubs like Bayern are also looking to get him since they couldn't get Diaz from Liverpool and Fenerbahce are equally coming for him, is it proper to let go of this player?
The arrival of Noni Madueke has indeed shifted Leandro Trossard's position. And that was predictable. But honestly, I personally believe that Leandro Trossard is still very much needed in the Arsenal squad. However, I wouldn't blame Arsenal if they ultimately had to let him go to a team that wanted him more. And Bayern Munich is currently interested in Leandro Trossard. So, I think it would be quite good for Leandro Trossard if he moved to Bayern. Furthermore, I believe Leandro Trossard is a versatile player. So, he won't be slow to adapt to another club when he leaves Arsenal.
However, whether he's appropriate or not is still difficult to say. While Trossard's role is sometimes needed, he's not Arteta's first choice. So, it's not a question of appropriateness, it's just that perhaps letting him go wouldn't be a major issue for Arsenal's overall performance.
Honestly it would have been best to see him still playing for the club because he has been a valid asset but sending him off doesn't go well. He needs more playing right from the beginning but now the Gunners has given him more reasons to let him go out from the club. If I'm to choose between Madueke, Martinelli and Trossard I'd go for the Belgium player because him being a versatile player is something many clubs don't have.
It won't be a major problem for the club if Trossard leaves after all they have enough back up for the club. I'm hoping that in as much as Arteta is selling and bringing in players he should make any mistake by letting in an injury prone player for someone that hardly goes out on injury, it might happen but let's see who comes for him after all the Gunners don't have all it takes to give them a trophy for the number of years he has been with the club.
