From my own perspective bitcoin is likely in the ballpark of 1,000x or more better than gold, so that means that bitcoin has likely a 10,000x more price appreciation in order to reach its fair market value relative to gold.
Most people expecialy the uneducated one who are not technology inclined will prefer traditional system of investment which is Gold than Bitcoin and this is making the market a competitive one, even though Bitcoin has more advantage over Gold.
It is only lack of knowledge that will make an investor prioritize gold over Bitcoin presently because their growth potential are too far apart. Bitcoin is still in it early days and their is a higher probability that in a few years time from now or more it might rise up to a million dollar or more, while gold on the other hand is closer to it peak price, if not at it peak price already, so on that note, it's more logical to invest in Bitcoin than gold in this particular point in time.
Then as for those guys that are not that technological incline, at the end of the day, they will still eventually invest in Bitcoin because that was how most of this top organisation and government were skeptical about it from the very beginning, but they later join the moving train, so I believe that it will be just a matter of time before these guys start investing, but by then, they would be regretting that how they wish they knew what they knew now and started earlier, so no need to worry because I know that with time, those that were skeptical about Bitcoin investment because it's more of technology will change their minds in due time when they can no longer deny the huge result of Bitcoin investment.
