You are perfectly right hear sir, it's better to be on the safer side than risking your hard earned money on something that can be very unpredictable, just like gambling, because even though you decide to be patient with it, the asset you bought might keep on declining, and you will be forced to sell at a loss, if not your losses might be greater.
And speaking of patience, it is also very important to learn and know when to apply patience and where not to, you will still end up losing significant amount of money if you apply patience where you should actually apply impatience.
This is the perfect scenerio of what I experience when I bought my first crypto, cfx to be precise. As I bought this coin when the market dip, I initially thought that as Bitcoin is rising, this coin will follow suit, but to my surprise when Bitcoin rise it wouldn't follow, but once Bitcoin retrace, it dip further, I hold it up to four months, that was when I withdrew the remaining $12 out of $50 I invested, so impatient can be very useful sometimes.
