We're not going to comment much on how Manchester United will be for next season. Regarding not many players being brought in and only expecting one more player after Cunha, that is the action being taken by Manchester United through Amorim.
There is one more player who is now in Amorim's sights, Richards Rios. A Colombian player who now plays for Palmeiras.
His main position is DM. That's good enough to cover the midfield deficiencies. If that works, we believe that Manchester United will be able to compete for the title and Gyokeres will think that he picked the wrong Premier League team.
To be honest it's very unfair for a coach that's about to start his debut season, he managed to help the team escape relegation despite starting mid-season so what they're supposed to do is back him up in the transfer window so he'll have a successful season ahead but then I wonder why the board is not really active in the window. It shows that they want him to fail so they'll panic and sign another coach again mid-season, it keeps going on and on but then no one but the coach is held accountable, if the owners of the team are not competent enough to get things going smoothly then they should sell the club to better suitors cause they've destroyed the legacy of that great club and it's so sad.
